A.S. CRIMINAL JUSTICE TECHNOLOGY LEARNING TRACKS This is the primary degree for Criminal Justice majors. The A.S. degree will transfer into similar upper division programs in Florida universities and colleges allowing graduates to enter these universities and colleges as a junior and seek a Bachelors Degree. The Criminal Justice Technology program recommends this Degree for criminal justice majors.
Our students can seek to emphasize different degree tracks depending on their educational and employment goals.
Students may select a particular degree track and then take those classes recommended. Students who do not wish to select a particular degree track should select the General Criminal Justice Track.

Students in this Track can take any criminal justice course regardless of Career Track.

POLICE TRACK Course Requirements For students pursuing a career in police work including patrol, criminal investigations, or traffic.

CORRECTIONS AND PROBATION TRACK Course Requirments For students pursuing a career in the jail or prison system; the juvenile justice system; or the parole, probation, or community control system.

PRE-LAW TRACK Course Requirments For students pursuing a career in the legal system as an attorney including prosecution or criminal defense.

CRIME SCENE TRACK Course Requirements For students pursuing a career in crime scene, crime laboratory, or forensics.

HOMELAND SECURITY TRACK Course Requirements For students pursuing a career in counter-intelligence, counter-terrorism, national security, or governmental security work.

SOCIAL SERVICES TRACK Course Requirments For students pursuing a career in criminal justice related social services including victim advocacy and drug abuse investigations and counseling.
