Katen Amin is a Business Instructor at the Ybor Campus. He currently teaches Intro. to Business (GEB 1011), International Business (GEB 2350), Principles of Management (MAN 1021), Principles of Marketing (MAR 1011), International Marketing (MAR 2156), and Small Business Management (SBM 2000).
Amin has been teaching since 2000 where he started as an adjucnt professor at the University of Tampa. He became a full-time faculty member at Hillsborough Community College in 2006.
He also has significant business experience, having both worked in corporate America and owned his own companies.
Katen's teaching philosophy is to have fun while learning. If students enjoy the course, they are more likely to learn and be successful.
