ABOUT THE PROGRAM |
The HCC Dance Program is committed to integrating artistry and scholarship in dance. Faculty and students form a community, which forge connections between performance, creativity, intellectual curiosity and advocacy. Dance courses are designed to explore the many possibilities of the moving body using space, time and energy. The program is designed to meet the needs of the individual student.

A.A. DEGREE WITH EMPHASIS IN DANCE |
The Associate of Arts Degree in Dance is a 63 credit-hour course of study. The A.A. program provides a comprehensive sequence of technique, choreography, repertory and analysis courses. The A.A. Degree Program with a Dance Emphasis is ideal for the student who wishes to pursue a four-year college/ university degree in such fields as dance performance, dance education, and dance studies, as well as those with career plans in related fields.
