FINAL EXAM FORM

When you have completed all your assignments and submitted all your work, you may take the exam for the class. Most of the classes have online exams, but a few classes have a hands -on exam, that you have to take in the computer lab. If your class has a hands on exam you should sign up for an Exam day and time when you turn in Assignment #4. If you did not do this, you should contact the instructor immediately via email. There is a 24 hour grace period for students who did not sign up for an exam with Assignment #4. This grace period was implemented for emergency situations.
See if your class has an online exam.

Remember:  You will need a Photo I.D. to take the exam.  Exams will be held in the Computer Labs (BTEC 203).    Please make every effort to attend the exam date/time you sign up for.  If you do not show and don't inform me BEFORE the date/time of your inability to attend, points will be deducted from that exam grade.

Question: CGS1107, Assignment 3- 2. Complete Mastering Power Point on Pg. 967-970 - Project 15D– Funding. Attach printouts from Step 21. Please print 6 slides per pages to earn full credit and save trees and money.

Case Problem #2 should be: the Works 2 file and the orders print out from it.

Keyboarding 1 & 2

• There are a couple of funny things about the keyboarding class that everybody should know.
• First, you have to use Internet Explorer 6. It says this clearly in the book, but new computers (in the lab) won’t work because Vista automatically has IE7. In addition, some people will use Mozilla without thinking and that doesn’t work either. 
• If you don't type everything perfect, you won't get the check mark. You can't backspace but you CAN click in the box, and if the Insert Key is Off, you can type over it and correct it.
• Finally, there is an ActiveX control that has to be installed. If you are in the lab and you are not logged on as an Administrator, it doesn't tell you anything, it just won't work.

Review Assignment #4 - The file you are looking for (on the HCC server - in the lab) is called Self Paced Class File. It is in a folder called My Music, but to you when it shows up it will say Self Paced Class Folder.

Project #3 - The computer name you are looking for on the server is called \\bt203c1s3x7920
