Magic Numbers: Alternative Active Learning Activity
to Introduce Computers

The presenters demonstrate a set of three programs that introduce computer concepts in required computer and educational technology courses. The programs include active learning exercises like games and simulations and are written in Click2Learn's Toolbook and in HTML/JavaScripts. Both sets are available online at http://www.hcc.cc.fl.us/ faculty/john_taylor/cop1000/cop1000.html and are free of charge.
