Welcome to St. Augustine and the Vilano Beachhouse. During your stay here you will enjoy refreshing yourself in the surf and walking or relaxing on the beautiful, white, sandy beaches. Afterward you may like sunning yourself on the upper deck while watching the boats sail in and out of St Augustine harbor. Additionally, St Augustine's old city area offers many historical sites. Just a hundred yards off the beach and three miles from the center of town lay Vilano Beachhouse.
This comfortable beach house is attractively furnished and offers privacy as well as an open living area where family and friends can gather for fun and games. There are four bedrooms & two full baths downstairs, a greatroom, kitchen, den, and bath upstairs. The bedrooms offer a variety of sleeping arrangements with a king-size bed in one room, a queen-size bed in another, and a twin set in each of the remaining two bedrooms. Upstairs is a spacious greatroom, a den, a bathroom and a kitchen. The den upstairs has a sofa, two comfortable easy chairs, plenty of lighting and a variety of reading choices. The greatroom includes a wet bar, a TV and a VCR. It also has a large table and many chairs as well as a sofa and easy chair. The raised ceiling and large windowed area are light and airy. The water view can be enjoyed from the greatroom, the kitchen, or the deck. The kitchen is fully equipped with two sinks, a dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, portable mixer, electric skillet, microwave oven, stove and refrigerator.
The house has central heat and air conditioning throughout.
It is available year round by the week, or monthly. Children are welcome but please leave your pets at home. (Handicapped access is poor due to 2-story house.)

St
Augustine, the nation's oldest city, is 5 minutes away. Many restored areas are open to the public.
The Spanish flavor of St. Augustine can be seen in both the old and new
buildings. Horse-drawn carriages are a delightful way to see the city. Numerous
small shops are located throughout the city for browsing. During the summer,
the Florida State Play, "Cross and Sword" plays nightly in the
beautiful outdoor theater just South of St. Augustine.
SPORTS: LAND AND WATER
If you play golf, Ponce de Leon Inn has an excellent course and the St. Johns County golf course is also a fine course. If you enjoy watching the pros play, TPC Week at Vilano Beach House is for you. The Tournament Player's Course and Sawgrass are approximately 25 minutes North on A1A. Additionally, the Golf World Village, just 20 minutes away, offers further golfing opportunities. For the tennis buffs, there are 28 public courts available, most of them lighted for evening play. Also close by are other sports attractions such as the Bayard Greyhound Track, the St. Augustine Speedway for Saturday night stock car races, the Daytona Beach Speedway, the Gator Bowl game in Jacksonville, and the Jacksonville Jaguars professional football team. St. Augustine is also less than 2 hours away from Disney World and Sea World in Orlando
Fishing can be done in the surf, from the jetties, or from the new Vilano Fishing Pier. Deep-sea fishing is available via Party boats at the east end of the bridge or chartered trips from Camachee Cove at the west end of the bridge. Fresh water fishing can be done at Guano Lake, a short ride North on A1A.
SUN, SAND AND THE SALTY SEA
Beautiful beaches for sunning, surfing, sailing and swimming are on both the Atlantic Ocean and the St. Augustine Inlet.
EATING AND ENTERTAINMENT
Excellent
restaurants of varied cuisines abound in and around St. Augustine. Fresh
seafood, Spanish, Italian, and Continental cuisine are readily available. Many
intimate pubs and lounges are situated around the area. For dancing, there are
several large hotels with dance bands.
